What gave you the incentive to race
Just wanted to dip his toe in as he had been around Stock Cars since the early seventies.
First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
Borrowed Russ Humphries car when Russ was injured and unable to race.
Memory of your first race.
Driving on track using number #111 which contained the number of his idol - #1 Stuart Smith - very proud.
As an "In house" joke his family and mechanics had used the name "John" on the side of the car instead of his real name "Jack"!

Just taking part of the best sport that he loved.

Reason for Retiring
Once Russ was fit to race again, the stint came to an end.
After Retiring - What Then?
Continued to mechanic for Russ Humphries until Russ retired then took to watching until Jack's untimely death in 2011.
