How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
Attended meetings from birth with my dad Cris (#66), grew up as a fan
What gave you the incentive to race
Always wanted to from a young age, the greats inspired me to get out there as well as my dad who was always building a car for as long as i could remember.
First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
We bought the Neil Brigg #87 transit axled car fitted with a small block in 1990, sadly the car was cut up about 56yrs ago.
Memory of your first race.
Long Eaton 1991, started behind the red tops, my intention was to pile into the sstars on the 1st bend, as far as i knew that had never been achieved by a novice! The reality was i made contact with Dave Mellor's rear bumper and he moved about 1cm off line, struggled from then on to navigate the car round the bends and was fatigued after about 5 laps.
Best Racing Memory
Leading a race briefly.
Worst Racing Memory
No bad memories
Reason for Retiring
Other commitments, finances required to prepare a competitive engine.
After Retiring - What Then?
Retired in 2005 following a serious illness, my brother Saul continued to race for a season or two, although to be honest our appearances were brief and and somewhat non competitive.I have continued to be a supporter of F1 and attend meetings regularly. Possibly will be having a try in an F2 in 2011.
