DRIVER PROFILE

Famous for his "Leap" over the Leicester fence in 1980. Richie suffered concussion in a racing incident at Coventry 1982 and remained in a coma for awhile.
Richie was then restricted to a wheelchair, and sadly he died of pneumonia on 11th June 1983.
