How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
Have been going oval racing since was 2 months old always down at the one and only Long Eaton stadium, dad used to race bombers then went on to V8,s. had a few years away from the track but once you been u cant stay away just a drug. Early 2000 dad started racing brisca f1 and we just gone from there.
What gave you the incentive to race
Since watching not only my dad race but remember as a kid watching Lundy and Frank Snr, Nigel Whorton etc race always wanted to be out there on the track no better feeling than when your strapped in just you and your machine and 32 maybe more other mad men or women going head to head.
First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
First go in a F1 dads at a practise day at Skegness when it was shale remember very well as i trapped my crown jules on the strap between your legs. First car was built by the late Graham Bird #99, do i dare mention with a stepped chassis (stepped in the right direction tho).
Memory of your first race.
First race Kings Lynn, remember going out on track heart pounding with excitement thinking oh dear god (####) you can stand in the crowd day in day out shouting do this do that but until u get out on the track ha you really apprieciate the talent and huge melons that every driver has to drive like they do. was a huge eye opener.
Best Racing Memory
Best racing memory picking up my first grade award at belle vue, dam what a wet night that was. best race Sheffield driving my brothers car and finishing second.
Worst Racing Memory
With out a doubt the throttle sticking wide open when entering the pits and hitting Mark Poole from behind (sorry about that Mark) and then hiting the gate post and gate. worst race under 25s at belle vue 3 laps to go in second the gear box shaft broke.
