How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
My dad used to take me to Belle Vue every Easter Monday and I just got hooked. The only drivers I can remember then were Willie Harrison, Charlie Finnikin and Peter Farrington.
What gave you the incentive to race
Well, I thought I could do better than these drivers, but not so!
First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
Bought off John Jebson for £300 and shared it with Chris Newsome #114. I raced it on Saturdays and he raced it on Sundays only if you could get a booking. How times have changed!
Memory of your first race.
Nelson was the place and I got an 8th in Grand National i think, loved that track, just a friendly place.
Best Racing Memory
Any race at Belle Vue, (Hyde Road) - fantastic memories
Worst Racing Memory
Being knocked out at Coventry.
Reason for Retiring
I bought an Agricultural Contracting Business and knew i would have to concentrate 100 per cent on that, but still missed the racing and mates I made.
After Retiring - What Then?
Work Work Work but would love have a go at Heritage but cant find any old cars of mine - probably all scrapped!!!
