DRIVER PROFILE

 I raced at about 16 meetings, scored only a couple of points, but at least I can say I had a go! My car was ex John Padgett 449, originally built by Wilf Warnes 91.It was bought for £70 as a bent rolling chassis and extensively rebuilt by me  with help from Mick Stecko ex419. I fitted a 460ci Ford engine also re-worked by me, taken from a scrap 1974 Thunderbird.  I simply couldn't afford to pay anyone else to do anything on the car on my budget!
