How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
I am the son of former Coventry speedway rider John Harrhy, and was actually born in Brandon, in the farm house behind the Coventry bend, and have been going to Coventry all my life, mainly to Speedway, but sometimes to stock cars.
What gave you the incentive to race
I have always fancied a go, and after 10 years riding bikes, Moto Cross, Speedway and Grasstrack, i fancied a go in a Stockcar.
First Car - Built, Bought or Borrowed
I have recently bought my first car, (end of 2010) it is the former car of Paul Hines, and is the car he won the 2005 European in, so its a quick car!
Memory of your first race.
I had my first race at the Birmingham Gala meeting, and had problems with the car prior to the meeting, and had to change the clutch. I did eventually get out, but was stuck in 2nd gear. I did get my 2 heats in before retiring to the bar. It is on you tube.http:\www.youtube.comwatch?v=jaR_jnsvybg
Best Racing Memory
I have only done 2 races so far, but from that, i had Murray Harrison help change my clutch, i had FWJ come and put his arm round me and wish me luck, i started at the back of my first race behind John Lund, and had a nice chat with Andy Smith after the meeting, so lots of memories from that first meeting.
Worst Racing Memory
Changing that clutch was a nightmare, and after all that money and preparation, i never thought i would get that first race under my belt!
