Skegness

TRACK PROFILE

Frank Hughes, brother of racer Nev, built the stadium from the ground up in 1976.
Vince Moody bought the rights in the late 80's and rejuvenated its appeal.
Speedway was offered in 1997 after being converted to shale, but 2004 saw a return to tarmac and Skegness remains an attractive venue for motor sport.
Skegness held its first World Final in 2012 and it didn't disappoint!
2017 saw Skegness under new ownership - Rob Speak #318 no less!!
