How did you find Brisca F1 Stock Cars?
Was taken to Brafield for my 5th birthday in 1966, the family got hooked on racing from then onwards
What gave you the incentive to race
Had been watching for about 11 years, and my brother Alan had been racing for 6 yrs, so just fancied a go

Memory of your first race.
I had never even driven a car, let alone a stock car. I was a few days short of my 16th birthday when i first raced at Ringwood. I could not beleive how fast they were going and was scared out of my mind! I hit the fence after a few laps, and fell over the fence after getting out my car!
Best Racing Memory
None imparticular, but enjoyed racing at tracks like Aycliffe, Rochdale, long Eaton. Raced at the last F1 meeting at Nelson where I qualified for the final after sitting in a pile up for about 14 of the 16 laps of the consolation
Worst Racing Memory
Getting a few concussions and double vision
Reason for Retiring
Injured my back, which nearly 30 years later is still giving me problems, but enjoyed racing so would not change it
After Retiring - What Then?
Went watching for a few years before taking up photography
