Wilf began racing as #150 in 1957, the number given to him when numbering started.
However in 1958, Wilf had managed to secure #75 which he was to hold until his untimely death in 1978.
Wilf hailed from Stockport, Merseyside owing a very successful coach business, then owned a hotel in Southport.
There are two Wilf Blundell Memorial's - One a Bowl, presented to the Final winner, and the other is a Trophy, Donated by Ray Leigh ex.346, which goes to the winner of the GN.
The Bowl was refurbished in 2005, paid for by Wilf's daughter - Trish.
She also pays for the retention trophies each year, arranged through Wilf's nephew Neil Cozens.
First driver listed won the Final (Bowl) and the Second driver listed won the GN (Trophy) except 1978 & not held in 1979.
